Lawrence was born on May 5, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to Walter and Arnetta (Rowe) Eddington. He was the ninth of ten children. He received his education in the St. Louis Public Schools.
Lawrence showed an early interest in boxing, from the age of twelve. He was a very good boxer. Lawrence won numerous Golden Glove Championships.
As a young man, he married Clarice and to this union two children were born. Lawrence lived his life his way. He enjoyed nice clothes, luxury cars, and good times. He spent his final days around his family. Lawrence was called to the Lord on November 2, 2009.
Preceding him in eternal life were his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Lawrence leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Lyn; one son, Donald; a son-in-law and grandchildren; one sister, Ida; two brothers, Raymond and Daniel (a devoted brother and loyal friend); one sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
