Celebrating the life of Mr. Gregory Earl Beal, born on November 28, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to parents Albert Leon Beal and Minnie M. Beal-Henderson, he was the first and the oldest child of eight children born to this union. His father Albert Leon Beal and his wife Bettye Jean Beal and grandmother, Magnolia Scott preceded him in death.
Gregory Earl Beal accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Gregory grew up in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Central High school and obtained his high school diploma. As the years went on he fell in love and married his sweetheart Bettye Jean Young in 1986. To God be the glory Gregory received his degree and dedicated his time as a certified nurse assistant for 25 years. Gregory brought smiles and laughter to many along with everything else.
Gregory maintained a great sense of humor throughout his illness. Gregory enjoyed playing drums and bongos, singing with the St. Louis Travelers for many years. He was an entertainer that will truly be missed by his family and those who loved him dearly.
Gregory took flight from this world to his Heavenly Father on Friday, October 9, 2009 at Barnes Jewish-Hospital.
Gregory leavees to cherish his memory: a devoted and loving mother, Minnie M. Beal-Henderson; two daughters, Jackie Pennington of St. Louis, Missouri, and Lakeshia Washington of Vicksburg, Mississippi; three sisters, Barbara Montgomery (Micheal), Carolyn Beal and Venita Beal of St. Louis, Missouri; 4 brothers, Albert L. Beal, Jr., Larry Beal of Springfield, Missouri, Donald Beal and Lee Beal of St. Louis, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Kiva, Leron, Tyrunne, Nyla, and Kaden; 2 brothers-in-law, Johnny Smith and Amos Smith of St. Louis, Missouri; 1 sister-in-law, Cora Young; 1 uncle, William Johnson; 1 aunt, Charline Davis of St. Louis, Missouri; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
